ACTIVITIES and TOURS March 2rd

All tours and activities start/return to Humbug

 

Humbug: Walking tour 9:30 AM, 12:30 PM and 3 PM (Dave Burns)

 

Pero Bonito Mine: 11AM and 1 PM. Drive your own 4X4 vehicle (limit 10)

 

Columbia: 2 PM. Drive your own high clearance 4X4 vehicle (required)

                    

Humbug Cemetery: Walking Tour: Following the 9:30 & 12:30 Humbug tour. Option: class on how to identify unmarked graves given at the cemetery.

 

Lunch (bring your own food): from 11 AM to 2 PM.

 

Kids Activities, All Day: 1. Certified Jr. Humbug Prospector, 2. Gold Panning 3. Finding Unmarked Graves.

 

Humbug and Columbia Books: $25.00 Special Package Offer.

March 3th only: Normally these books sell for $55.00 (full color) combined. If supplies run out we will take orders, add $10.00 for postage and handling.

 

50/50 Tickets Sales: 8 AM – 11:59 AM $5.00 per ticket.

                    

50/50 Drawing: 12:00 Noon MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN (@ Humbug Miners Quarters Hitching Post)

 

50/50Tickets are sold as fund raising to preserve Humbug. Rules: Purchase one or more tickets at $5.00 (cash only, no checks) each prior to 12:00 PM, (voluntary). At 12:00 PM we will draw the ticket from the hat and the winners receive 50% of the proceeds sold. The other 50% goes to Humbug restoration project or to purchase supplies. Tickets will be drawn until a winner is present, (one minute to identify your winning ticket). Winning tickets must be presented with matching numbers on drawn tickets to win.

 

Donations & contributions are greatly appreciated for historical preservation.

8:00 AM        Depart Lake Pleasant Staging Area

 

9:30 AM        1. Humbug: Guided – Walking Tour, followed by:

2. Humbug Cemetery: Guided - Walking Tour. Optional class on identifying unmarked graves given at the cemetery.

 

11:00 AM      Pero Bonito Mine: Guided Tour – Drive (Limit 10 Vehicles per tour)

 

12:00 PM      50/50 Drawing: (Held at the Hitching Post - @ Humbug)

 

12:00  PM     Lunch break

 

12:30 PM      1. Humbug: Guided - Walking tour, followed by:

You can explore in and about Humbug on your own. Tours to Pero Bonito Mine and the Ghost Town of Columbia must have guides as they are on posted private property.
