Enter from Wayside, AZ - remote. On South side of Santa Maria River approx 5
Mi. E of confluence of Big Sandy. Ranch has been abandoned for years, a few
buildings remain. |

Due to the current remoteness of this location,
its believed this is possibly the Palmerita Ranch Cemetery. It should be
noted, the Bill Williams - Santa Maria River was a main though fare for
pioneers going and coming from the Bradshaw Mountains and Mining Districts
there in and this could have been a stopping off place for those travelers.
Ranch property has been abandoned for years - with a few buildings remaining
in 2007. Research will continue on this cemetery and updates will be
forthcoming as information is gained. |
